For a cause Pink Day
Once a year the House turns pink. The whole gym trains together, we design a shirt for the year, and every dollar raised goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Pink Day is the one on the calendar nobody needs convincing about. We put a shirt together each year, the gym fills up, and everyone trains in pink. Last year we set a $200 target and finished on $830.
The session itself is open to anyone. You do not need to train here, you do not need to be fit, and you do not need to do the whole thing. Turning up and putting money in is enough.
It is the day that best sums up what this place is meant to be: a room full of people doing something hard together for a reason bigger than their own training.
